Welcome to House of the Hound: Meet Your Trainer!

Hello!

My name is Violet, and I'm a canine behavior and obedience specialist with over five years of experience helping dogs and their owners build stronger, healthier relationships through training. I work with dogs of all breeds, ages, and temperaments, offering services ranging from basic obedience and trick training to therapy dog preparation and behavioral rehabilitation.

One of the most common questions I hear is, "When should I start training my dog?"

The answer is simple: as soon as possible.

Whether you have a brand-new puppy, a newly adopted rescue, or an older dog with behavioral challenges, training provides structure, confidence and communication. Training isn't just about teaching commands, it's about creating a common language between you and your dog.

Many owners wait until a problem develops before seeking help. Pulling on the leash, jumping, barking, reactivity, anxiety, and even aggression often begin as small issues that grow over time. Early training can help prevent many of these behaviors before they become habits.

At House of the Hound, my goal is to provide practical, real-world training that helps dogs succeed both at home and in public. Every dog is unique, and every training plan is tailored to the individual needs of the dog and their owner.

Whether you're interested in obedience, need behavioral advice, therapy dog preparation, agility, or trick training, I'm excited to help you reach your goals!

Thank you for visiting our site, and I look forward to working with you and your canine pal!
