By booking services with House Of The Hound, clients acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:
Owner Responsibility
The owner remains legally responsible for their dog and its actions at all times before, during, and after training sessions. Training does not transfer ownership, liability, or responsibility to the trainer.
Disclosure of Behavioral History
Clients must disclose any known behavioral concerns, including aggression, reactivity, bite history, fearfulness, resource guarding, anxiety, or medical conditions prior to training. Failure to disclose relevant information may result in termination of services.
No Guaranteed Results
Dog training outcomes vary based on numerous factors, including consistency, owner participation, environment, genetics, age, health, and temperament. While every effort is made to help clients achieve their goals, specific results cannot be guaranteed.
Participation Requirements
Successful training requires active participation and follow-through by the owner. Clients agree to practice training exercises between sessions and understand that progress may be limited without consistent implementation.
Health Requirements
Dogs participating in training should be in good health and free from contagious illnesses. Clients are responsible for ensuring their dog is physically capable of participating in training activities.
Safety & Liability
Clients acknowledge that working with dogs carries inherent risks, including but not limited to bites, scratches, falls, property damage, and other injuries. Clients voluntarily assume these risks and agree not to hold House Of The Hound liable for injuries, damages, losses, or expenses resulting from their dog's behavior or participation in training.
In-Home Training
For in-home sessions, clients agree to provide a safe training environment. Children should be supervised, and other pets may be asked to be secured during portions of the training session when necessary for safety and effectiveness.
Public Training Sessions
For training conducted in public locations, clients agree to maintain control of their dog and follow all local laws, leash requirements, and facility rules. Clients remain responsible for their dog's behavior toward people, animals, and property.
Aggressive or Reactive Dogs
Dogs with a history of aggression or severe reactivity may require specialized safety protocols, equipment, or management techniques. The trainer reserves the right to discontinue a session or refuse services if safety concerns arise.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
A minimum of 24 hours notice is required to cancel or reschedule an session. Sessions canceled with insufficient notice may be subject to a cancellation fee or forfeiture of the session.
Photography & Media
Photos or videos may occasionally be taken during training sessions for educational or promotional purposes. Clients may opt out of media use by notifying the trainer in writing.
Right to Refuse Service
House Of The Hound reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services at any time due to safety concerns, inappropriate behavior, failure to follow training recommendations, or violations of these terms.
By booking or participating in training services, clients acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
